Milton Jackson

Milton Jackson, 74, of Henning, passed away on Thursday, September 8 at the VA Medical Center in Memphis. Mr. Jackson was a retired truck driver with Burlison Gin and a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Jackson; one son, David Milton Jackson; one sister, Sandra (Roger) Catterton and two grandchildren, David Jackson, Jr. and Shelby Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Hazel Glass Jackson; one son, Devon Jackson and three siblings, Wayne Jackson, Sue McLillie and Linda Morris. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 17 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Fund.
