Mike "Hog" Jones

Mike "Hog" Jones, 63, of Covington, passed away on Saturday, August 6 at his home. Mr. Jones was a diesel technician having worked at Wooten Truck and Tractor early in his career and retired after 37 years with Tennessee Tractor. He is survived by two sons, Patrick (Jessica) Jones of Covington and Kane "Chunk" Goforth; one daughter, Margaret (Bradley) Klimmer of Munford; one sister, Judy Jones (Sam) Hursta of Covington; six grandchildren, Shelby Lynn Williams, Emma Gilliand, Bella Jace Jones, Hannah Scott, Haley Scott and Keegan Scott; two nieces, Tab McDivitt and Penny McAnulty and one nephew, Christopher Pitt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virble and Martha "Pookie" Jones; his wife, Karen Jones; one brother, John Howard Jones and one sister, Margaret Pitt. A memorial visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, August 12 at the Covington Funeral Home.
