Mickey Mittag

Mickey Mittag, 60, of Union Grove, AL, passed away on Friday, October 16 in Birmingham. Mr. Mittag was a U. S. Army Veteran and senior logistician at the Red Stone Arsenal. He is survived by his wife, Vina Mittag; one daughter, Michelle Coffey; one son, Matthew Mittag; his parents, Heinz and Carol Mittag; one nephew, Davidson Mittag; one niece, Mickey Mittag Dennison and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Philip "Flip" Mittag and Mark Mittag. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 24 at the Covington Funeral Home with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery.
