Mazie Mashburn Yarbro Cooper

Mazie Mashburn Yarbro Cooper, 82, of Mason, passed away Tuesday, June 18 at her home.  Ms. Cooper was a retired factory worker with Clopay and a member of the Mason Baptist Church.  She is survived by her husband, Charles Edward Cooper; two daughters, Lorrie (Keith) Stegall and Dorothy (Karl) Stegall, both of Mason; two sons, Gregory (Phyllis) Yarbro of Ocean City, MD and Jeff (Sherrie) Yarbro of Brighton; one step-daughter, Charlene (John) Fischer of Cleveland, OH; one step-son, Charles Cooper, Jr. of Cordova; two sisters, Martha Poole of Covington and Brenda (Howard) Grady of Coldwater, MS; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Katie Louise White Mashburn; her first husband, Roby Yarbro, one step-daughter, Drucilla Grady and one brother, Jack Mashburn.   Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 22 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Charleston Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, June 21 at the funeral home.
