Maxine C. Bone, 85, of Covington, passed away on Monday, March 11. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 14 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13 at the funeral home. Ms. Bone was a retired quality control employee with Baxter Lab. She is survived by her husband, Joel Erskin Bone; five sons, George Lee Oglesby of Covington, Harold (Amanda) Faurbo of Covington, Tony Bone of Millington, David (Ann) Faurbo of Canada, and Dan (Vickie) Faurbo of Louisville, KY; four daughters, Cynthia (Raymond) Salmon of Covington, Deborah (Doug) Stephenson of Covington, Mattie (Curtis) Marcum of Pickwick, TN and Laurie Faurbo of Denver, CO; one sister, Bobby Roach of Covington; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Stella Snow Currington; three brothers, Virgil Lee Currington, Doyle Lee Currington and Dexter "Bud" Hoyle Currington and three sisters, Myrtle Marie Russell, Willie Louvena Bearden and Vernie Yvonne Jackson.
