Maudie Anderson, 85, of Covington, passed away on Wednesday, July 25. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 31 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment services to follow at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31 at the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Memphis. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, July 30 at the funeral home. Ms. Anderson was a retired waitress and a member of the Mason Baptist Church. She is survived by four daughters, Marilyn Ridgell of Atoka, Linda Sue Ridgell of MS; Barbara Davis of Ashland, MS and Elizabeth A. Ranne of Covington; two sons, Charles Austill of MS and Melvin Keeton of TN; one brother, Jimmy Estes of Southaven; two sisters, Nancy Sharpe of NC and Jean Pegram of Southaven; 13 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie and Elizabeth Estes, Sr.; her husband, Ernest Anderson; three daughters, Patricia Cockrell, Diane Nicholson and Gloria Austill and one brother, Ollie Estes, Jr.
