Mary Jane Jackson

Mary Jane Jackson, 72, passed away on Tuesday, November 15 at her home. Ms. Jackson was a retired painter with the S & R Company. She is survived by one son, David Milton (Sonja) Jackson; one grandson, David Jackson, Jr; one granddaughter, Shelby Jackson and two brothers, Jerry Wayne Rogers (her twin brother) and Doug Rogers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert "Sod" and Ruby Pennington Rogers; her husband, Milton Jackson, one son, Devon Jackson; two sisters, Reaba Lavelle and Lorine Pool and three brothers, Norris Rogers, E. J. Rogers and Wallace Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 18 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
