Mary Elizabeth Harkness

Mary Elizabeth Harkness, 82, of Brighton, passed away on Wednesday, March 29 at Baptist Hospital Collierville. Ms. Harkness was a retired production worker at the Charms Company and a member of the City of Refuge Church. She is survived by two daughters, Patti Tindall of Covington and Susan James of Brighton; four sisters, Helen Allen of Garland, Gloria Glover of Covington, Pat Miller of Covington and Wilma Northcott of Covington; one brother, Danny Smith of Sanford, FL; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Elizabeth Reed Smith and her husband, Billy Harkness. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 3 at the City of Refuge Church in Atoka. Interment services will be private. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday at the church.
