Mary Chadwick

Mary Ellen Richardson Chadwick, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at her home in Atoka, Tennessee. Born on June 11, 1941 to Jack and Ora Reynolds Richardson, she was one of nine children. Ms. Mary was a Christian woman, and attended Lexa Baptist Church. She loved God and her family immensely. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, and gardening, and spent many hours quilting with her sisters. Any time the family would gather together for holidays and reunions, she always found joy in seeing all the new babies. Ms. Mary had a big heart, and cared for others from early on until her health declined in later years. Ms. Chadwick leaves behind one son, David (Cheri) Chadwick; one daughter, Lou Ellen Chadwick; one grandchild, Adam Nolan; one brother, Buddy Richardson; three sisters, Ora Lee Lindsey, Glen Dean Wilson, Kay Wilson; one sister-in-law, Charlene Strother, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Chadwick, Sr.; her parents, Jack and Ora Ellen Richardson; one brother, Wayne Richardson; three sisters, Judy Turner, Linda Taylor, Kathy Sue Purvis. Services will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Three Trees Cowboy Church in Wynne, Arkansas. Receiving of friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with funeral services to begin at 12:00 noon. Interment will take place at 4:00 p.m. in Central Cemetery in Lexa, Arkansas.
