Mark Boothe

Mark Boothe, 59, of Munford, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 10. Mark worked as a fitter/welder for Plant Maintenance Service Corporation for 41 years. His talent in metal work showed through in all that he did. He was very creative having made BBQ Grills/cookers for friends and family. He was also involved in many local construction projects that involved welding and the building of storage tanks. Mark was known to make friends easily! He is survived by one son, Joshua Mark (Nichole) Boothe of Munford; one daughter, Jodi Marie Boothe of Millington; his fiancé, Grace Jones of Munford; his mother, Nellie Boothe of Munford; two sisters, Tara (Rex) Wallace and Tammy Boothe, both of Drummonds; two brothers, Shorty (Diane) Belk of Covington and Bo (Victoria) Boothe of Horn Lake, MS; five grandchildren, Noah Preston Boothe, Sawyer Boothe, River Boothe, Serenity Jones and Marquel Jones and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Boothe and his wife, Robbin Boothe. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 15 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Drummonds. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
