Marie Katherine Carroll

Katherine Carroll, age 78, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at Sugar Creek Senior Living in Brownsville, after a three-year battle with cancer. She was a member of and regularly attended Randolph Assembly of God, until her health declined. Mrs. Katherine worked for Charms for over 30 years, and was referred to as a “workaholic” by those that knew her. In her free time she loved reading, and could always be found curled up with her bible, or favorite novel. To treasure her memory, she leaves behind two children, Randall Carroll and Kenneth Carroll; five grandchildren, Krystin, Matthew, Joshua, Nicholas, and Hannah; one sister, Dorothy Brumley, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Neal and Ida Mae McClinton; her brother and sister-in-law, Maurice and Dot McClinton; her brother, Naurice McClinton; her infant grandson; her brother-in-law, Donald Brumley, and one nephew, Donnie Brumley. Funeral services for Marie Katherine Carroll will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Covington Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. Visitation for friends and family will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
