Madonna Louise Robbins, age 80, of Atoka, went to be with her loving Father and Savior on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Methodist North Hospital. Ms. Robbins was born and raised in Huntington, Indiana, and attended Huntington Catholic School. She was a factory worker, an accountant, and a devoted and loving Christian. Her faith and family were the most important aspects of her life. Lady Madonna, as her family and friends called her, was a beautiful and compassionate soul and will be dearly missed. Ms. Robbins leaves behind her four children, Deborah Petersen, Doreen Johnson, Shelly Haywood, and Derral Robbins; eleven grandchildren, David Smart, Dana (Stephanie) Smart, Jillian (Brandon) Keister, Megan (Chris) Phillips, Ashley Robbins, Darian (Chris) McBride, Destin Robbins, Hayley (Justin) Hensley, Hunter Haywood, Lauren (Luke) Petersen, and Claire (Michael) Couch, and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Louise Hadley; her three brothers, Patrick Hadley, Michael Hadley, and Richard Hadley; her son, Michael Petersen, and her son-in-law, Bill Johnson. Cremation services are under the direction of Covington Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 27, at the funeral home.
