Mackie Green

Mackie Green, 70, of Covington, passed away on Monday, September 19 at his home. Mr. Green was survived by his companion of over 20 years, Joan Sanders; seven children, Mack (Becky) Green, Jr., Scott Barnes, Elaine Sanders, Eric Sanders, Christy Hocking, April Green and William Green; one brother, Wayne Green; one sister, Peggy Byrd; 20 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dessie Mae Green. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, September 21 at the Ebenezer Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Mason with interment to follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday and until service time at noon. Friends are invited to gather for a time of remembrance at 3 p.m. at 1500 Braden Rd. in Mason.
