Linda Simmerman

Linda Simmerman, 60, of Covington, passed away on Thursday, December 7.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 11 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.  A homemaker, she is survived by her husband, Rickey Simmerman; two daughters, Patty Lynn Sandy of Mason and Mary Simmerman of Burlison; one brother, Roby Vandiver, Sr., of Covington; one sister, Wanda Benjamin of Ripley; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Roby and Evelyn Mashburn Vandiver; one granddaughter, Erica Sherrod; one brother, Duane Vandiver and one sister, Teresa Dale Vandiver.
