Linda Jackson Yarbro Morris, 80, passed away on Sunday, September 4 at her home surrounded by her family and friends. She was a graduate of Byars Hall High School, the Memphis Adult High School and studied Modern Physical Science at U. T. Knoxville. Among her many careers and hobbies over her lifetime, she worked as a Psychiatric Aide for the State of TN Dept of Mental Health at Arlington, studied floristry at Lifetime Career Schools in Los Angeles, CA, worked for Tennessee Mortuary Service in Memphis, took 12 hours of Basic Police Fundamentals at the Indoor Shooting Center in Memphis and worked as a consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics. She is survived by three children, Wayde Yarbro, Michael (Vickie) Yarbro and Lynn Yarbro; two siblings, Milton (Jane) Jackson and Sandra (Roger) Catterton; seven grandchildren, Martina, Kana, Amy, Brandee, Staci , Bradley and Kailee and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy and Hazel Glass Jackson; her two husbands, Winford Maurice Yarbro and David F. Morris and two siblings, Wayne Jackson and Sue McLillie. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 7 at 1 p.m. at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Helen Crigger Cemetery in Munford. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
