Leon Cross

Leon Cross, 55, of Covington, passed away on Sunday, May 10. Mr. Cross was a self employed concrete worker and owner of Cross Concrete. He is survived by his wife, Kerry Bailey Cross; two sons, Nicholas (Jessica) Cross of Covington and Bubba (Ashley) Cross of Ripley; one daughter, Tiffany “Lulu” (Shannon) Perry of Covington; two sisters, Cindy (Johnny) Marvel of Ripley and Betty Jean Cross of Covington; two brothers, Buck Cross of Covington and Walter “Cotton” (Susan) Cross Jr. of Brighton and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Francis Byrd Cross; four sisters, Matty Lou Hunt, Judy Tucker, Bo Hinson and Mary Etheridge and four brothers, Billy Cross, Tex Cross, Troy Cross and Johnny Cross. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 14 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
