Lee Thomas O'Hara, 61, of Covington, passed away on Tuesday, January 23 at Methodist Hospital North in Memphis. Lee was a pool cleaner with Heavenly Pools, a job which took him to many locations throughout the area.
Lee was an avid bowler, bowling with the USBC and bowled more that one 300 game. In addition to bowling, he loved to fish and was a fan of the Pittsburg Steelers.
He is survived by two daughters, Brandy Runnels and Jessica O'Hara, both of Bartlett; four grandchildren, Samantha Runnels, Raven Runnels, Josephine M. Rodriguez and Joshua J. Rodriguez; his mother, Geraldine O'Hara of Covington; two sisters, Lisa Lee Hall of Brighton and Prudence Lynn Jackett of Covington and two brothers, Jerry M. (Nora) O'Hara and Wayne A. O'Hara. He was preceded in death by his father, Lee O'Hara, one sister, Cindy Kay Stafford, and his brother-in-law, Jack Jennings.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 28 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
