Laurenda Rose Barger

Laurenda Rose Barger, 81, of Munford, passed away on Friday, December 2 at Methodist Hospital North in Memphis. Ms. Barger owned the Cougar Burger in Munford with her sister in law, Doris Naccarato, worked for the Covington Leader and Circle K convenience stores. In addition, she worked local elections for 15 years, was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in both Munford and Millington for 20 years and was a member of the River of Life Church in Munford. She lived her young life to the fullest! She is survived by one daughter, Christine Bobzien; one brother, Joseph P. Naccarato, Sr., many nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Salvatore and Angelina Naccarato; her husband, Almon Barger; one son, Larry Naccarato and one sister, Elvira Clardy. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7 at the River of Life Church in Munford with interment to follow in Helen Crigger Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 until 1:30 on Wednesday at the church with an Order of the Eastern Star service to begin at 1:30 on Wednesday, also at the church.
