Larry Watson

Larry Watson, 83, of Covington, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the Collierville Nursing Home and Rehab Center in Collierville. Mr. Watson was a retired bus driver with Durham Transport after 21 years of service. During his life, he also drove 18 wheelers and dump trucks. He is survived by one daughter, Shelia Brown of Atoka; one son, Gary Watson of Hernando, MS; three brothers, Raymond Watson of Covington, Harbert Watson of Bartlett and Bobby Watson of Bethel, OH; two sisters, Lettitia Eubanks of Atoka and Mary Hancock of Mason; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Ann Watson; his parents, Aubrey and Gertrude McNeill Watson; three brothers, Thomas Watson, Jimmy Watson, and Donald Watson, and one sister, Margie Hodum. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 30 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Covington Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
