Larry Ellis Morgan

Larry Ellis Morgan, Sr., 79, of Brighton, passed away on Friday, April 22. Mr. Morgan was a retired Field Superintendent at Continental Construction. He loved his grandchildren, motorcycles and fast cars. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bettye Morgan and his parents, James and Mabel Morgan. He is survived by a brother, Jerry (Judy) Morgan; a sister, Sandra Morgan; his son, Larry "Toby" (Terri) Morgan, Jr.; four grandchildren, Tyler (Hillary) Morgan, Bailey (Will) Britt, Tiffany (Ryan) Palmisano and Shelby (Matt) Yardley and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Northridge/Woodhaven Cemetery in Millington. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
