Larry Kellum

Larry Neal Kellum, 69, of Burlison, passed away on Friday, June 14 at his home.  Mr. Kellum was a retired welder and construction worker for Rose Construction.  In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and gardening, and raised all kinds of vegetables.  He was fond of his dog "Houndog."  Larry was always there to lend a helping hand, mowing yards for others, and was a wonderful husband and father.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Blanton and Louise Watson Kellum, three brothers, Jimmy Kellum, James Kellum, and George Kellum, and one sister, Jacqueline Shahan.  He is survived by his wife, Dottie Kellum; his son, Roger Kellum; four brothers, Stonie Kellum, Barry Kellum, Norman Kellum, and Jeffery Kellum, and three sisters, Linda Sappington, Sandra Harrison, and Carol Richtmyre.

Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 21 at Covington Funeral Home, with Mr. Daniel Dalton to officiate the service.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until service time on Friday.  Cremation services are under the direction of Covington Funeral Home.
