Kenneth Bryson McCain, Sr., 82, of Brighton, passed away on Wednesday, February 23 at his home. Mr. McCain was a retired warehouse employee with Kimberly-Clark, having worked there for 35 years, a veteran of the National Guard and a member of the Brighton A.R.P. Church. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Banks McCain; one son, Kenneth Bryson (Lisa) McCain, Jr.; three grandchildren, Jonathan Carice (Allison) McCain, Joseph Andrew (Heather) McCain and Taylor Delane Gross; four great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Elise McCain, Andi Claire McCain, Kyle Joseph McCain and Connor Jase McCain and one step-great grandchild, Addison Vujicic. He was preceded in death by his father, Erskine McCain; his mother, Louise McPeak McCain; a daughter, Jill McCain Gross, a sister, Rose Eubank, and a brother, Charles Erskine McCain. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Monday, February 28 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Salem ARP Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the National Parkinson's Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
