Kanon Blaze Etheridge

Kanon Blaze Etheridge, of Covington, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 3 at his home.  

Kanon was born on September 21, 2023 at 1:07 p.m. weighing 8lbs, 3 oz. He was such a calm baby but had a big appetite. His brother, Kyzer, was so excited to finally meet his little brother along with the rest of his family.  Kanon had a smile that was so infectious that it could fill a whole room.  While he never took much interest in toys, he did love to play with his hands and watching the ceiling fan.  He loved being sung to and would smile so big and stare in to your eyes as you sang to him.  

He is survived by his parents, Joshua Etheridge and Kathrine Hinnard-Etheridge; his brother, Kyzer Hinnard; his grandparents, Kristin Long, Timothy Long, Rocky Etheridge, Nichole Etheridge and Cathy Hinnard; his aunts, Katie Bateman, Chelsea Hinnard, Jamie Dancy and Natalee Dancy and his uncles, Tyler Seratt, Shawn Etheridge, Cameron Etheridge, Connor Etheridge, Noah Allmon and Wyatt Dancy.  

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, December 8 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
