Junior Shankle

Junior Shankle, 72, of Covington, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, February 8.  Mr. Shankle was a retired farmer and a faithful member of the  Solo Church of Christ in Covington.  

He is survived by two daughters, Gail Shankle of Drummonds and Lynn Shankle of Henning; three grandchildren, Kyler Turnage, Ashlynn Turnage and Brandon Price; three great grandchildren, Raelynn Harris, TJ Burks and Messiah Burks and one sister, Sue Black of Covington.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orr Lee and Thrisa Jane Shankle.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13 at the Covington Funeral Home with interment to follow in Indian Creek Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12 noon until service time at 2 on Tuesday.
