Juanita Lathrop

Juanita Lathrop, 93, of Drummonds, passed away Wednesday, June 19. Ms. Lathrop was a retired bookkeeper with Townsend Auto Mart and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.  She is survived by two daughters, Cindy Welsandt of Brighton, and Linda (Ralph) Ryan of Moss Point, MS;  one son, Stan (Patti) Lathrop of Millington; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Regina Carmichael Austin; one daughter, Diane Luhning, and one brother, Jack Austin.  Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 22 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Quito Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 22 at the funeral home.
