J.T. Watson

J. T. Watson, age 62, of Dyersburg passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. He was a retired Union carpenter. Of the 40 years he was with the Union, 30 years were with Kroger. In his spare time he enjoyed playing golf, tending to his herb garden, and spending time with his family. His children were the light of his life. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Reva Beloate Watson; his daughter, Tabitha Watson; three grandsons, Seth Watson, Shane Conrad, and Easton Conrad, and one sister, Dianne Davis. He was preceded in death by his son, Neil Watson; his parents, James and Linda Baum Watson, Sr., and his grandparents Lloyd and Alcia Baum, and Reverend and Mrs. Watson. Services for Mr. J. T. Watson will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Covington Funeral Home. Visitation for friends and family will be held from 4pm until 6pm, with the funeral to begin at 6pm. Cremation services are under the direction of Covington Funeral Home.
