Joyce Maharrey

Joyce Maharrey, 68, of Brighton, passed away on Tuesday, May 8.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 11 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Salem ARP Cemetery in Atoka.  The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 10 at the funeral home.  She was a retired property manager with G. H. Parker Company.  She is survived by one son, Wes Hardin of Braden; one brother, Joseph Elam of Ripley; three sisters, Marie Boyd of Brighton, Delores Fowler Boothe of Munford and Lynn Elam of Munford and one granddaughter, Savannah Hardin.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Alfred and Florence Elam and two sisters, Shirley Boyd and Barbara Fleming.
