Joseph Billings

Joseph Billings, 77, of Covington, passed away on Monday, January 11. Mr. Billings was a retired mechanic having worked for Coca-Cola and Walker Chevrolet and was a U. S. Army Veteran having served in Korea. Mr. Billings is survived by one son, Joseph Edward Billings, Jr.; two daughters, Mistie Dawn Billings and Paula Jo Ables; three sisters, Bettie Jean Gill, Nora Leigh Jernigen and Sally Ann Deverell; two brothers, Harry Avery Billings and James Clement Billings; ten grandchildren, Joseph Edward Billings, 3rd, Ashton James Billings, Kimberly Nicole Billings, Summer Dawn Billings, Natalie Renee Billings, Elizabeth Marie McCain, William Donald McCain, Kristy Nicole Tucker, Pamela Jo Ellison and Jason Lee Prater and two great grandchildren, Emily Tucker and Bradley Tucker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Beatrice Billings and one brother, Cecil Billings. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 16 at the Shiloh Cemetery in Covington. There will be no visitation.
