Johnny Cothran

Johnny Cothran, 71, of Burlison, passed away on Tuesday, September 8. Mr. Cothran was a farmer and a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by one son, Brian (Michelle) Cothran; two grandchildren, Kade Cothran and Karaline Cothran; one niece, Charlene Lynch and one nephew, Steve Cothran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Basil and Bernice Bradshaw Cothran and two brothers, Jerry Cothran and Adrian Cothran. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 11 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
