John Grant

John “Shrek” Grant, 44, of Munford, passed away on Friday, October 30. He leaves his wife, Heather Grant; one daughter, Samantha Grant (Jeremy George) of Millington; one son, Hunter Grant of Munford; one sister, Jennifer (Tony) Workman of Decatur, AL; one brother, Jay Casey of Texas; one aunt, Priscilla (Phillip) Sherman of Decatur, AL and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Grant was a retired YNC of the U. S. Navy, a member of the CPO Association, a member of the Tipton Lodge #226, a Boy Scout Leader and a member of Faith Baptist Church. Funeral services with both Military and Masonic Honors will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, November 6 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
