Joe Gross

Joe "Papa" Gross, 84, of Munford, passed away on Monday, April 22.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 25 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Helen Crigger Cemetery in Munford.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.  Mr. Gross worked in construction with sheetrock/drywall, was a U. S. Army Veteran having served in Germany and a member of the Crossroads Church of the Nazarene.  He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Gross; three sons, Tim Gross of Memphis, Jeff Gross and Tommy Gross, both of Munford; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by two daughters, Judy Jackson and Teresa Rhea and one son, Joseph Mark Gross.
