Joe Ray Crocker

Joe Ray Crocker, 89, of Collierville, passed away on Saturday, December 23.  Mr. Crocker was a retired mechanic with the DuPont Company.

He leaves his wife of 72 years, Oletha Crocker; two sons, Bobby (Dee) Crocker and Charles (Gail) Crocker; one daughter, Diane (Tommy) Williamson; numerous grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, T. M. and Lillie Crocker; two sisters, Morine Belew and Pauline Vaughn and three brothers, Dr. Gordon Crocker, T. M. Crocker, Jr. and Grant Crocker.  

He was one of the founders of Faith Baptist Church (Drummonds, TN) and he served as deacon and music minister for many years. Due to his love for the Lord and his church the family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Faith Baptist Church, 900 Simmons Rd, Drummonds, TN  38023 in his memory.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 28 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
