Jo Ann Collins

Jo Ann Collins, age 79, passed away March 5, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Saulsbury, TN. She was born September 22, 1940 in Memphis, TN and grew up in Tipton County, TN. She was the daughter of the late William (Bill) and Alice Sigler. Mrs. Collins lived in the Memphis area until she married the late James Lee Collins and they moved back into Tipton County in 1988. Upon Mr. Collins passing in 2009, she moved to Saulsbury to live with her daughter. Mrs. Collins had eleven siblings, which includes eight sisters and three brothers. Helen Wilson of Covington, TN, Martha Archer of Millington, TN, Evelyn Laxton of Munford, TN, the late Marie Atkins of Atoka, TN, Beverly Travis Crow of Rosemark, TN, Larry (Martha) Sigler of Texas, Barry Sigler of Haywood, TN, Alice (Farris) Massengill of Covington, TN, the late Robert “Bobby” Sigler of Covington, TN, Pat (Wayne) Belk of Haywood, TN, and Deborah (Richard) Ramsey of Atoka, TN. She had three children, two sons and one daughter. Bobby Smith of St. Robert, MO, Alisa (Brandon) King of Saulsbury, TN, and Kenneth Lovell of Middleton, TN. She also had three grandchildren, Joseph (Stacie) Cummings, Jr. of Byhalia, MS, Maria Smith of Miami, FL, and Skylar King of Saulsbury, TN. She had one great-grandchild, Madison Jo Ann Cummings of Byhalia, MS. Mrs. Collins enjoyed spending time with her family, going fishing, vegetable gardening, and cooking for Holidays and family gatherings. Memorials can be sent to the American Cancer Society. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
