JM Goodin

JM Goodin, 94, of Covington, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022. Mr. Goodin was retired with 38 years of service at Kimberly-Clark, where he maintained industrial equipment. He is a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Korea. JM leaves a step daughter, Ann Goforth, and her husband Charles; a step-son, Jimmy Whitesides, and his wife, Sharon; three grandchildren, Leslie Goforth Brock, and her husband, Brian, Becky Goforth Gentry, and her husband, Ray, and Bryan Whitesides, and his wife, Kelly; six great-grandchildren, Will Gentry, Gavin Gentry, Avery Brock, Peyton Whitesides, Ava Whitesides, and Tanner Whitesides, and one sister, Betty Carol (Brackeen) Henderson, and her husband, Dale. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Cole Goodin; his parents, Harvey Goodin and Gladys McCoy Goodin; his brothers, Gerald Goodin, John Travis "Tab" Goodin, and Leon Goodin, and his sister, Janell Barnett Roberts. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Saturday, August 27, at Covington Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Poplar Grove Cemetery in Drummonds, TN.
