Jimmy Wilson, 69, of Brighton, passed away on Sunday, January 29 at his home. Mr. Wilson was a 1971 graduate of Covington High School, a U. S. Army Veteran and was employed at International Harvester as a machinist until its closure and then worked at MTD Products. He is survived by one son, Ira (Tanya) Wilson of Brighton; one grandson, Nathan Wilson of Drummonds, four step-grandchildren, B. J. Baskin, Doylen (Samantha) Baskin, Brantley Baskin and Trace Baskin; three sisters, Jane (Garrison) Venn of Franklin, TN, Camille (Glenn) Blasingame of Franklin, TN and Beth (Steve) O'Brien of Covington; one niece, Shelby (Hogan) Maughan; one nephew, Matthew O'Brien and one great nephew, Wilson Maughan. He was preceded in death by his parents, W. S. and Jane Cooper Wilson. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, February 3 at the Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12 noon on Friday, February 3 at the Covington Funeral Home.
