Jimmy Russell

Jimmy Russell, age 68, of Ripley, TN, passed away at home on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Mr. Russell was the owner/operator of J.R.’s Backhoe Service. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Brandi Russell; his daughter, Judith Grace Russell; his mother, Lucille Gray; his sister, Patricia Loy; his brother, Jerry Russell, and many other friends and family members. Mr. Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Hazel Alfred Russell. A celebration of life memorial service is set for 2:00pm on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the Williston First Baptist Church on Hwy 76 in Fayette County, TN, for close friends and family members. Cremation services are under the direction of Covington Funeral Home.
