Jimmy Poole

Jimmy Poole, 69, of Burlison, passed away on Saturday, April 29 at Jackson/Madison County Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Poole was a self employed welder, a former Charms employee, having worked there for over 20 years, and a U. S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by one son, Riley Poole of Burlison; one daughter, Michelle Glass of Mason; his significant other, Mischell Gaither of Burlison; his mother, Rosie Barnes of Covington; four sisters, Ann Gray of Covington, Linda Penny of Covington, Janie Haley of Humboldt, TN and Mary Windowmaker of Florida and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, James Alvie Poole and three sisters, Rosie Marie Cappos, Lorrine Phillips and Sherry Montoya. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
