Jimmy Marbry, 74, of Covington, passed away on Wednesday, October 26. Mr. Marbry was a retired contractor and a U. S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by one daughter, Amy Spurlin (Allen Grisham) of Covington; one son, Bobby Marbry (Bianca Wooley) of Atoka; two brothers, Robert (Lisa) Marbry of Atoka and Phillip Marbry of Mason; five grandchildren, Chelsea Davis, Austin Marbry, Justin Spurlin, Sara Marbry and Carson Marbry and one great grandchild, Hadley Cresswell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Gladys Hubbard Marbry; his wife, Judy Carole Marbry; four brothers and three sisters. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 29 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Jimmy loved his children and grandchildren and watching anything they were involved in. The family would like thank Crossroads hospice for the care they gave Jimmy during his final days. A special thanks goes to his niece, Amanda Wood, for the care she gave Jimmy over his final years.
