Jimmy Ray Gibson

Jimmy Ray "Dinky" Gibson, 62, of Covington, passed away on Monday, July 15.  A truck driver with R&L Carriers, he is survived by his wife, Tammy Gibson; two sons, Carey Ray (Miranda) Gibson of Philadelphia, PA and John Michael (Karenza) Gibson of Atoka; two step-sons, Jeff (Paige) Stafford of Brighton and Ellis Baskin, Jr. of Brighton; three sisters, Peggy (Billy) Martin of Covington, Patricia (Tracy) Moore of Southaven and Carolyn (Roy) Flynn of Covington; one brother, Stanley "Buster" (Sonya) Gibson of Lucy and 10 grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on  Wednesday, July 17 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Morrison's Memorial Cemetery in Brighton.  The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16 at the funeral home.
