Jimmy Bearden passed on July 19th, 2022. He was an experienced soldier and skilled manufacturing and forklift supervisor who lived for the simple things in life, like landscaping, home repair, and traveling. During his military travels, he visited Da Nang, Vietnam and South Korea, but his heart was always with his family and friends in the States. He was well known for his gentle heart and fun loving personality, and never turned down an opportunity to enjoy wildlife and nature. His love of nature and his adventurous and courageous spirit lead his family on many adventures throughout his life. Always a faithful friend and protector, he spent his weekends serving with the national guard in his hometown and helping others in his community. He is a devoted and loving husband of 38 years to his wife Linda. He is survived by 4 kids, 7 grand kids, with many generations of his family loving him and honoring his memory. Thank you for your sacrifice, Jimmy. We will love and miss you always! Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 5 at the Covington Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
