Jim Carpenter

Jim Carpenter, 64, of Burlison, passed away on Tuesday, March 31. He was a former truck driver with Graham Trucking. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Carpenter; three sons, Edward Carpenter, Steve Yager and Thomas Yager; five brothers, Jack Carpenter, Don Carpenter, William Carpenter, Richard Jennings and Perry Lambert; seven grandchildren, Katie Yager, Alexis Carpenter, Lanna Greenhaw, Christopher Mixon, Kirstin Yager, Aidyn Mixon and Chloe Carpenter and two great grandchildren, Riley Hardee and Karter Hardee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Owen and Betty Joe Carpenter. Funeral services for Mr. Carpenter at the funeral home are closed to the public but you are invited to view the services via the Covington Funeral Home Facebook page on Saturday afternoon.
