Jerry Allen Isome

Jerry Allen Isome, age 65, of Brighton, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021. He was a retired warehouse foreman, and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Jerry loved to lighten the mood with his sense of humor sure to put a smile on everyone’s face. He was a gardener, a history buff, and a gun enthusiast, but most importantly he was “Granddaddy.” His granddaughters were the highlight of his life. Mr. Jerry had a love for people, family and friends alike, that was unconditional. He loved with all his heart. To keep his memory alive, he leaves his wife of 15 years, Kristy Isome; his son, Jeremy (Amy) Isome; his step-son, James Gibson; two granddaughters, Rebecca Isome and Caroline Isome; one brother, Larry (Diane) Isome; one nephew, David (Leah) Isome; his aunt, Betty Palmer, and many cousins and friends. He had quite the family, full of love and many blessings. Mr. Isome was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Gladys Moon Isome. Funeral services for Jerry Allen Isome will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at the Covington Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Macedonia Cemetery in Arlington, Tennessee. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
