Jean Adkison Jordan

Jean Adkison Jordan, 93, of Burlison, passed away on Saturday, January 22. Ms. Jordan was a retired production worker with the Levi Pants Company in Memphis, a homemaker, an avid gardener and a member of the Elm Grove United Methodist Church. She is survived by four sons, Malcome (Shirley) Adkison of Burlison; Larry (Sharon) Jordan of Rosemark, Bill (Jennifer) Jordan of Anderson, SC and Edward (Carol) Jordan of Texas; eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Bertha Evans Cothran; her husbands, Malcome V. Adkison, Sr. and Lavon Jordan and 10 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Covington Memorial Gardens.
