James Franklin Chamberlain entered his earthly home on October 23, 1953 and departed for his heavenly home on March 18, 2024. He was 70 years old.
He was a retired disabled United States Navy Veteran. He also was retired from a career of truck driving. He enjoyed driving around visiting with family and friends. He received much joy and pleasure in going to vegetable stands and sharing his goods with his family.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Chloe Chamberlain and one infant son, James Franklin Chamberlain, Jr., his parents, Gene and Annie Mae Chamberlain and four brothers, Eugene, David, Larry, and Johnny Chamberlain and one sister, Doris Chamberlain.
He is survived by two brothers, Paul Chamberlain of Covington and Jody (Roxanne) Chamberlain of Goodlettsville, TN and five sisters, Ruth Ann (Danny) Wallace, Darlene Chamberlain, Beulah Chamberlain, Marie Tucker, all of Covington and Carolyn McBroom of Dyersburg. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews that he cherished and loved spending time with.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 23 at the R. H. Munford Cemetery in Covington. Friends and family are invited to attend.
