James “Jim” Virgil Albright passed away July 28, 2024, at the age of 78. He was born November 29, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan to his late parents, Virgil and Margaret Albright. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, an active member of the VFW, and had a strong passion to help homeless veterans. He organized many fundraisers and clothes drives to assist veterans with getting back into the workforce. Jim founded the Bulls and Bears Investment Club in Hot Springs Village.
Jim fought for our country in the Vietnam War serving in the United States Air Force. After returning home, he attended the University of Michigan. He worked in the air freight industry in sales management, and upon retirement, Jim and Bev moved to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Beverly McDaniel Albright; two nephews, David McDaniel and Russell McDaniel, both of Brighton, Tennessee; four great nephews; one great niece; and ten great-great nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, George Albright.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at Salem Cemetery in Atoka, Tennessee at 4p.m., Monday, August 5, 2024.
