James Andrew Edward Smith

James Andrew Edward Smith, 42, of Southaven, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023 at his home. Mr. Smith was a construction worker. He is survived by three sons, Conner Smith, Kris Smith and Eli Smith; his father, George A. Smith, Jr.; two brothers, George A. “Trace” (Karmen) Smith, III and Chris O’Brien; one sister, Tamyra Jean Smith; six nephews, Logan, James, Levi, Matthew, Brandon and Adam Jr. and six nieces, Emma, Sara, Lillian, Layla, Natalie and Claire. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jean Smith and his grandparents, Jim and Virginia Hayes and John and Elaine McCorkle. Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 4 at the Minor Memorial United Methodist Church in Walls, MS. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Covington Funeral Home has charge of services.
