Jacob Andrew Wright

Jacob Andrew Wright, 21, of Brighton, passed away suddenly in an automobile accident on Sunday, April 23. Mr. Wright was an employee of the Bunn Company and a graduate of Covington High School where he played baseball when they were state champions in 2019. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Georgia Southall (Chubby) Jackson of Brighton; his father, William Alex Wright of Memphis; five brothers, Luke Wright of Covington, Nathan Wright of Covington, Solomon Wright of Memphis, Jaxon Wright of Memphis and Zane Mendoza of Covington; one sister, Kaitlyn Wright of Southaven, MS; his grandparents, Janice "Nana" Hendren, Randy "Pops" Southall, Ann "Nanny" Lunceford, James Jackson and Annie Jackson and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Leslie Burton Wright. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 30 at the Covington Funeral Home. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service on Sunday. Cremation services are under the direction of Covington Funeral Home.
