Houston Davis, 75, of Brighton, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 14 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a retired car salesman and a member of The City of Refuge Church in Atoka. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sherrie Davis; two daughters, Cheryl “Dee Dee” (Kevin) Russell of Brighton, Tammy (Darrell) Weaver of Brighton; one son, Randy (Holly) Davis of Covington; one sister-in-law that he loved like a daughter, Susan Callahan-Burke (Andy) of Covington; one brother, Luther Davis of Arkansas, 10 grandchildren, Cameron (Tiffany) Wiseman, Zachary Wiseman, Tristan Russell, Jordan Weaver, Noah Weaver, Trey (Megan) Davis, James Daniel Davis, Sam Davis, Victoria Callahan (Dennis) Malone and Jacob (Amberly) Callahan; eight great grandchildren, Alex Wiseman, Houston Davis, Toby Wiseman, Isaac Callahan, Sylas Wiseman, Olivia Grace Callahan, Kynlee Davis and Eli Callahan; three nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Edward and Ruby Velma Davis. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18 at the Covington Funeral Home with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, February 17 at the funeral home.
