Helen Wright

Helen Coulston Wright, 82, of Covington, passed away on Thursday, June 20.  Ms. Wright was a hairdresser and salon owner in the Charleston community, and later in life became a pharmacy technician at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Tipton.  She is survived by her daughter, Terri Wright Sandlin (Hugh Milner) of Lakeland; one son, Baxter(Kathy)Wright  of Covington; one sister, Francis Simpson of Stanton; three granddaughters, Breanna(Clinton)Francis, Melissa Sandlin(Brian Rickert), and Annie(Jeff)Hoover; three grandsons, Drew(Stephanie)Glass, Shea Glass, and Shad(Wendy)Sandlin; five great-granddaughters; and two great-grandsons.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Baxter Wright; her parents, James and Farrah Davis Coulston; one son, Gregory Wright; one brother, James Mackey Coulston, Jr.; two sisters, Dorothy Sartain and Peggy Sharp; and one granddaughter, Heather Wright.  Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 23 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Charleston Cemetery.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
