Glen Paris, Sr.

Glen Paris Sr. of Covington, was born February 16, 1951 and passed in peace Friday, May 29, 2020 at the age of 69. He was preceded in death by his parents Neal and Lucy May Paris, four sisters and two brothers. He was the husband of 34 years to Brenda Stewart. He was the former husband and cherished friend of Sandra Paris. He was the loving father to Glenn (Candy) Paris, Michael (Carly) Paris, Walter Tidwell, Denise (Tony) Joy, and Joe Tidwell; the proud grandfather of Makayla Paris, Morgan Paris, Casey Joy, Catilin Joy, Cheyenne Tidwell, Ethan Weber, Will Morris, Hunter Morris and the great grandfather of Layla Joy. Additionally, he is survived by sisters Rose Stanfill, Carolyn Duncan, Linda Armstrong, Peggy Jenkins, Evelyn Thomen and brothers Larry, Randy, and Eugene Paris, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, June 6 at the Alex Haley Rest Area in Henning. His wishes were to be cremated and he will be laid to rest with his parents and siblings at Concord Cemetery in Gates, TN at a later time.
